On March 2, CAP Agency staff joined over 50 Community Action leaders from across Minnesota at the State Capitol for MinnCAP Advocacy Day on the Hill. The event was filled with energy and meaningful conversations about the needs of the communities we serve.
Our team met with several state legislators to discuss ongoing our programs, including food assistance, housing stability, early childhood services, and energy support. These conversations helped highlight both the growing demand for services, and the importance of support for Community Action Programs.
We are grateful to our legislative partners for their time and engagement and remain committed to advocating for awareness that strengthen families across Scott, Carver, and Dakota counties.
