Celebrating 60 Years of CAP: A Week of Exciting Events

Last week, we organized a series of enjoyable public events to commemorate an incredible 60 years of CAP! Here’s a brief overview of our exciting plans.

On Tuesday evening, we kicked off our Community Celebration Night! Held in our Shakopee parking lot, the event featured entertaining yard games, awesome face painting, and delicious hot dogs and burgers.

We hosted a Donor and Volunteer Breakfast event on Wednesday morning. It boasted a fantastic turnout, allowing us to truly connect with everyone who plays a pivotal role in the success of CAP. A brief presentation about CAP was delivered, followed by an engaging Q&A session.

On Thursday, we spent the entire day visiting all three CAP locations: Rosemount, Shakopee, and Chaska. It was a true delight to show guests around our offices and offer them an exclusive glimpse into the daily operations of our programs and services here at CAP!

Finally, on Friday, we held a staff gathering to recognize this significant achievement. Although not everyone could be present, every member of our CAP family plays an essential role in fulfilling our mission each day.
