CAP Agency offers supportive programs that help individuals and families care for their mental health, connect with other parents and caregivers, and find safe temporary childcare during a crisis.

Spanish-Speaking Mental Health Community Sessions

These sessions provide a safe and supportive environment where Spanish-speaking community members can connect with a bilingual Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and receive guidance on their mental health journey.

The family-friendly group can help participants navigate anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns while providing tools and resources that support well-being. Participants may bring their children.

Parents Helping Parents

Parenting is a hard job and can sometimes feel overwhelming. Parents Helping Parents provides opportunities for parents and guardians to exchange ideas, connect with others, and share parenting challenges and successes in a friendly, supportive environment.

Temporary Childcare & Family Support

Crisis Nursery

CAP Agency Crisis Nursery services are available to families in crisis who live in Scott or Carver County and currently use CAP Agency services. Children from newborn through age 12 are eligible.

Crisis Nursery provides:

Safe, temporary childcare for children
Time for parents and caregivers to work through a crisis or emergency
Counseling and support

Children are placed in the home of a licensed provider, where they can feel safe in a family environment and receive nurturing care from a supportive adult.
