Put a CAP on Hunger

Minnesota FoodShare 2021

CAP’s 2021 MN FoodShare “Put a CAP on Hunger” Campaign seeks to raise $125,000 to support our growing Food Shelf operations. We are serving numerous neighbors in Scott, Carver, and Dakota counties who are facing food insecurity more than ever before. Over the last year alone, the Food Shelf has fed 800 families and we anticipate that to increase to more than 3,000 families per month.

Contributions to our “Put a CAP on Hunger” Campaign will:

  • Support additional pop-up food distributions
  • Increase the frequency of shopping visits
  • Offer “Fresh Produce Hours” so households can get fresh produce on a regular basis
  • Provide transportation to help expand mobile food shelf and pop-up capacity
