The CAP Local Imports Store is currently accepting donations of new and gently used clothing and household items! Donations are accepted Monday-Friday 9am-4pm and Saturday 9am-2pm.
How To Donate Items:
Please bring us:
- Clean clothing and linens (no stains, holes, or rips)
- Clean shoes and accessories (handbags, sunglasses, etc)
- Household items in good working condition (including all parts and pieces)
- Clean toys and games (with all parts and pieces)
The CAP Local Imports Store will accept some new and gently used furniture with pre-approval. To find out if your item is suitable for donation, please call before donating: 952-402-9898.
The CAP Local Imports Store has the right to refuse any donation. The CAP Local Imports Store does not have the resources to clean, repair, or pick up donations.
The CAP Local Imports Store cannot accept the following items as donations:
- Televisions
- Large appliances
- Microwaves
- Computers or printers
- Beds or mattresses
- Window coverings (including blinds, shutters, and shades)
- Car seats, cribs, or strollers
- Sleeper sofas
- Home improvement light fixtures (unless brand new in box)
- Decor and clothing that is out of season
- Audio speakers
Donation Receipts:
CAP Agency is a nonprofit organization, and your donation may be tax deductible – please check with your tax advisor. To receive a receipt for your donation, please see a CAP Local Imports Store volunteer.
